The resort town of Morschach is the best example of alpine beauty
The municipality of Morschach in Switzerland has been a renowned resort area since the 19th century. Its scenic views of Lake of Lucerne make it an ideal place for those who enjoy mountain walks and lake cruises.
In 1869, Queen Victoria called it “the most beautiful place on Earth,” and Morschach became a vacation hotspot for the rich and famous of Europe. Nevertheless, the Great Depression and WWII led to the old resorts going bankrupt. Fortunately, new ones have been built in recent years.
