There is a pink lake up high in the Andean Plateau in Bolivia
High up in the Andean region of Bolivia is the Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna National Reserve. Although there are several breathtaking landscapes, one of the most unique is the Laguna Colorada, a shallow salt lake frequented by flamingoes.
The lake’s color palette is one of a kind since its waters are red because of algae and red sediments, but the salt floor bed is bright white. Clear skies and mountains serve as the perfect backdrop, making the place a must-see for tourists.
