Do not put grapes in the microwave
Everybody knows not to put metal in the microwave, but did you know you should not put grapes in either? It sounds hard to believe, but it is true. This is because the fruit’s unique characteristics make it react strangely with the microwaves generated by the appliance.
The phenomenon has to do, in part, with the fruit’s size, which is perfect to fit one microwave length inside it. That leads to the wave getting caught in there, and if there is more than one grape, then the trapped waves can hop from one to the other and generate plasma.
