The Ancient Egyptian civilization spans so many centuries it is hard to contextualize
The Ancient Egyptians gave us some of the greatest architectural wonders in the world, such as the Pyramids of Giza, but their greatest achievement might have just been their incredible longevity as a civilization. Estimates say that it was first consolidated in 3100 BC and lasted until AD 641.
That means that there are fewer years between queen Cleopatra’s birth and the invention of the mobile phone than there are between her birth and the construction of the Great Pyramids. When you think about it, history is wild. It is amazing that we even have records of such ancient events.
