Garlic can actually make your body odor more pleasant
Some foods are notorious for being quite stinky, and garlic might just top that list. If you have ever cut a clove, you know that your fingers will probably reek of it for days. Ironically, scientists have recently discovered that the pungent ingredient can help you smell better.
Psychologists in Scotland and the Czech Republic found that men who were given a high dose of garlic had a more pleasant body odor than those who did not. There are two possible explanations. The first is that its antimicrobial properties kill off bacteria that cause bad smells. The second is that its antioxidants help reduce armpit odor.
