Children who pretend to be superheroes could be better at fulfilling tasks
Every parent knows that it can be very hard to get a young child to do something they do not want to do. There are certain strategies adults adopt that can motivate a kid to behave, but they do not work all the time. Nevertheless, there might be something you can try to convince your children to do a task.
Scientists carried out a study where they assigned tasks to children aged between four and six. They found that those who pretended to be superheroes, such as Batman, could work for longer without getting distracted. So, buying your child a superhero costume could be the solution to getting them to do their chores.
