Love letters from World War II
During World War II, love letters brought strangers together in difficult times. Many years later, in 2013, and many miles away from where the chaos happened, a New Jersey resident found a box with a pink ribbon where someone had stashed 57 love letters.
These handwritten letters belonged to Dorothy Fallon and Lynn Farnham. The memories of this love story date between 1942 and 1947. Shook by her discovery, the woman who found the letters tried to return them to the lovebirds who wrote them. Still, she only managed to contact a family’s niece.
