A mammoth bone at the Dunwich coast
When dog owners throw sticks for their dogs to fetch, they certainly don’t expect it’ll bring you an animal bone, let alone a mammoth bone. That is what an innocent and sweet dog named Daisy discovered while taking a stroll on the Dunwich coast.
Its owner, surprised by the discovery, called the authorities immediately. It was later confirmed that the dog’s big stick from the beach was a fragment of a mammoth bone, believed to be over 2,000 years old.
