NASA’s engines of the Saturn V
NASA faced multiple challenges in order to fulfill the former president of the United States, John F. Kennedy, pledge: space exploration. Werner Von Braun was the man who made Kennedy’s dream come true and developed the Saturn V, the rocket built to send people to the moon.
Some rockets, this one included, we’re supposed to break apart in stages and fall back to Earth, and that’s why many pieces of Saturn V’s engines lay on the seabed. Years ago, many pieces were recovered by Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos in a privately-funded expedition.
