The Namib desert is mind-blowing
Sand dunes of perfect formation press up against a deserted stretch of coast and inland for as far as the eye can see. Shipwreck skeletons are consumed by sand more than a kilometer from the ocean. And wildlife thrives in a land that is almost entirely devoid of water.
The Namib Desert is not only one of the most beautiful deserts in the world but also a place of mystery that keeps its secrets well hidden. This mystical desert has been dry for at least 55 million years. And while it may not be the largest desert in the world, it is almost certainly the oldest.
