The Devil’s Tower in the Black Hills, Wyoming, seems straight out of a Disney movie
This tower is a spectacular geological feature that rises from the Black Hills prairie. Northern Plains Indians and indigenous people used to regard it as sacred, and it is one of the best crack climbing areas in North America, with hundreds of parallel cracks.
President Theodore Roosevelt established Devils Tower as the first national monument in the United States on September 24, 1906. This tower definitely invites visitors to explore it more and define their place in the natural and cultural worlds. Some say that this looks like a giant petrified tree stump.
