Higher levels of UV radiation have changed the color of some flowers
Climate change is currently the biggest threat to our planet, but we still do not know precisely how overreaching its effects are. One recent and quite disturbing discovery is that flowers are beginning to change colors due to increased exposure to UV rays.
Increased UV pigmentations have decreased the pollen quality of certain plant species. This, in turn, has affected their ability to reproduce by reducing the number of pollinators attracted to their bright colors.
