The hole in the ozone layer is closing
Regarding the climate crisis, it is no secret that the world is not doing enough to tackle it. That said, not everything is bad news. One issue that was dealt with quickly and efficiently was the hole in the ozone layer.
Experts estimate it will have closed entirely within 50 years. Its recovery is primarily thanks to the signing of the Montreal Protocol in 1987, which banned the use of CFOs (chlorofluorocarbons). These chemicals of widespread use were incredibly harmful to the ozone layer.
