It was not easy to determine how long a day in Saturn was
You would not think that calculating how long a day is on a particular planet would be hard. After all, it is a simple matter of timing how long it takes for it to complete a full rotation on its axis. Nevertheless, finding out the length of a day on Saturn posed a problem because of its unique qualities.
In the first place, the planet has very few features that can help mark a full rotation. Its magnetic field also prevented experts from using electromagnetic measurements. Fortunately, the data gathered by the Cassini spacecraft allowed scientists to pinpoint that a day in Saturn lasts precisely 10 hours, 33 minutes, and 38 seconds.
