You move much faster than you think
You have probably heard the phrase “slow and steady wins the race” before. Those who lead a fast-paced rhythm of life are not necessarily better than those who take it slow. However, even the slowest tortoise or sloth moves at a speed of thousands of miles per hour.
How is that possible, you may ask? It all has to do with the speed with which the Earth rotates. Even if our bodies are not moving, the surface we are on is constantly rotating at a speed of around 67,000 miles an hour. That is faster than any object humans have ever created can go.
