Saturn’s rings will disappear one day
Saturn is the second-largest planet in our solar system, and it is a massive ball of gasses, mostly hydrogen and helium. It is mainly known for its fabulous eight rings. Although they look pretty solid, they are actually made up of fast-moving chunks of comets, asteroids, and moons, as well as ice and dust.
Unfortunately, anything that disturbs the path of this rocky debris moves it into the range of the planet’s vaporizing clouds, which means that one day it will run out of material, and its rings will disappear. It is hard to imagine Saturn without them, but nothing lasts forever in the universe.
