Graham Cracker – United States
Graham crackers are graham flour-based with a sweet flavor and can be traced back to the United States in the middle of the 19th century. It is consumed as a snack food alongside honey and other similar flavors. The Graham cracker was created as a result of the sermons of Presbyterian minister Sylvester Graham.
He proclaimed that a vegetarian diet centered on bread made from wheat that was coarsely ground at home was desirable in God’s eyes. Alongside all forms of pleasure and stimulation, including the prevention of masturbation, was how God intended people to live and that adhering to this would keep people healthy.
