Kurabiiki – Bulgaria
Kurabiiki is a Surabaya-style biscuit that is popular in Bulgaria. These sugary cookies, which are especially popular in that country during celebrations, are made with butter, honey, egg yolks, sugar, and flour. Kurabiiki is regarded as one of the most eaten snacks in Bulgaria.
They are formed into balls and rolled in coarse sugar before baking. Once freshly bronzed, Kurashiki is consumed immediately or stored for later use in firmly closed jars and tins, ensuring that they stay fresh and firm for as long as possible.
