S’mores-Stuffed Cookies – United States
S’mores-stuffed cookies are yet another American cookie variant made with s’mores, a popular campfire snack in the United States and Canada. This sticky treat is made with multiple toasted or heated layers of marshmallows. The selling point of the S’mores-Stuffed Cookie is the s’mores, which first appeared in a recipe in 1938.
Later on, a popular recipe released in 1956 made use of s’mores to make a sandwich consisting of two crackers (which are typically Graham crackers), heated marshmallows, and half of a chocolate bar. Today, the use of s’mores in baking has become rampant, hence the S’mores-Stuffed Cookies, which are made of butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, large roasted marshmallows, semi-sweet chocolate chips, Graham crackers, and milk. This recipe is the epitome of sweetness.
