Treehotel in Sweeden
The Treehotel began in 2010 when Britta and Kent Lindvall dreamed of converting a retirement home from the 1930s into a guesthouse in their hometown of Harads. This crazy building is located about 100 kilometers from the airport in Lule, Sweden. It was transformed into a hotel among the trees with seven huts, inspired by the movie “Tree Lover.”
The rooms have views of the valley of the Lule River and tall pine trees, and you might get to see the northern lights. The building is suspended 4-6 meters above the ground, and different Scandinavian architects have contributed to the design to make each hut distinct.
