Le Palais Bulles- The Bubble House
Palais Bulles (“Bubble Palace”) is a large house in Théoule-sur-Mer, near Cannes, France. Hungarian architect Antti Lovag designed the Bubble Palace, built for the French industrialist Pierre Bernard and later bought by the fashion designer Pierre Cardin as a holiday home. This 13,000-square-foot house was constructed between 1975 and 1989. It was built out of hatred for straight lines and designed as a form of spontaneous, joyful, and excited expression.
The house contains a reception hall, panoramic lounge, and an open-air amphitheater that can seat 500 people; it has 29 bedrooms, numerous swimming pools, and waterfalls on extensive landscaped grounds.
