Undergrad vs. Graduate Student: Physics Edition
This picture portrays the difference in thinking of two science students. It’s a concept of how an undergraduate and a Ph.D. student relate to physics. The undergraduate student thinks physics is very interesting, and he can use it to explore and know many things about the world. The picture shows a giant dog full of himself and thinks physics is as easy as going in and coming out.

However, the side-by-side is that of a tired dog who represents a Ph.D. student who has been doing physics for a while, and it seems that the nearer he thinks he is getting, the further it is in the real sense of it. He becomes confused when he sees that others are still ahead of him in terms of knowing about physics. This means that science is like an ocean; nobody can know everything about it, and discoveries will always emerge as long as man exists.
