Draining water froze around a chain and created a unique icicle
If you live in a country where it rains often, you’re probably acquainted with rain chains. These structures are practical and aesthetically pleasing alternatives to classic downspouts. One of their most common uses is to keep passers-by from getting splashed by an awning’s drainage as they walk down the street.
During winter, rain chains can also become exciting attractions. Thanks to this picture, now we know they can quickly turn into unique icicles because of the frigid temperatures. In our opinion, these pieces of ice look eye-catching and are a lot safer than most sharp icicles we can find in building eaves.
