Freezing rain in Russia buried many cars under a thick layer of ice
Russia is notorious for being one of the coldest countries in the world. Winters are harsh in most cities. Nonetheless, Vladivostok often suffers from severe weather phenomena that paralyze the whole town. In fact, many cars are often buried under thick ice because of heavy freezing rain and frigid temperatures.
These vehicles seem wholly wrecked. We can’t imagine how complicated it must be to get rid of so much ice without damaging them further. Using salt or baking soda to melt it isn’t a good idea, as it may ruin the car’s paint. Perhaps all that’s left to do here is wait until the weather warms up.
