Take a look at this snow-covered forest in Finland
Perhaps you didn’t know, but forests cover more than seventy-five percent of the land area of Finland. It’s a perfect place to explore and connect with nature. Still, we wouldn’t recommend doing so during the six months of the year when the northern part of Finland becomes covered in snow.
This snow-covered area is close to the Arctic, so it was named “Boreal forest.” During winter, it becomes a magical wonderland full of frozen lakes, snow, and taiga. All you can see at the time is a dead silent forest and ice sculptures covering the trees and spreading across the hillside.
