The Sun cannot become a black hole
If stars are the foundation of a black hole, does it mean Earth could be destroyed by a black hole one day? So yes, stars with collapsed gravitational forces form black holes, and yes, the Sun is a star, but no, our star cannot become a black hole. At least not in its current size and capacity.
A star has to be big enough to cause a black hole, and the Earth’s star, the Sun, is too small to form a black hole. The Sun has to be at least 20 times greater in mass to explode into a supernova and then collapse into a black hole when its life ends. You can sleep better knowing this is far from possible.
