Scientists finally captured an image of a black hole
Because black holes can only be seen when gamma rays are emitted from them, scientists have never captured a photo in its essence. Although studies have been conducted using environmental events and happenings, no direct image has been seen until recently.
A Supermassive located about 500 trillion kilometers away was captured in 2019, making it the first-ever photograph. It measured around 40 billion kilometers across, 6.5 billion times greater than the Sun. It was captured with the help of a network of eight telescopes spread across the world.
