Spending time near a black hole equals over a million years on Earth
We just said time freezes in a black hole, so this is very contradictory. If time exists within a black hole, how does it distort time and space? Well, that’s cause time and space collide with the black hole. They are forced into the black hole, which forces them to keep going forward. Since there is no way to go back within the black hole, it distorts the entire concept. Make sense?
Things inside the black hole are distorted, but the core or singularity of the black hole experiences time itself. At what pace or speed? Speculations say much faster than Earth. If you found yourself in orbit close to a black hole, even for a short period of human time, you would end up back on Earth after millions of years have gone by.
