Mountain Hare
A mountain hare (Lepus timidus), also known as a blue hare, is a large rabbit native to the mountain regions of Eurasia. The mountain hare lives in rugged terrain and feeds on grasses and other plants, including heathers. These rabbits are very good at camouflaging into the environment, especially during the winter when it’s snowing, as shown in the picture below.

The animal hibernates during the winter months (October through February) and forms groups consisting of an adult male, several adult females, and their young (known as “forms”). Its white fur perfectly blends into snow piles.
