Pink Pygmy Seahorse
The pink pygmy seahorse is a small, colorful fish found in the Indo-Pacific region of the world. It is known for its unique coloration and is considered one of the most beautiful fish in the world. It can be found in shallow waters up to 200 meters deep. The pygmy seahorses are nocturnal creatures, but they can still be seen during the day if there’s enough light present in their habitat. During these times, the camouflage of their environment is very visible.

This creature feeds on plankton and algae by sucking them into their mouths with their snorkel-like tube-shaped rostrum or snout. They don’t have teeth, so they take food into their mouths through this tube instead. Pygmy seahorses can change color depending on whether they’re looking for food or hiding from predators like big fish who might eat them. They blend in beautifully with these pink and orange corals.
