Asian Vine Snake
The Asian vine snake (Ahaetulla prasina) is a non-venomous snake found in the Indian subcontinent. It is a medium-sized snake with a length of 30–50 cm (12–20 in). It is not known to inject venom into its prey but has enlarged teeth that can cause damage to humans. Their primary diet consists mainly of frogs and lizards. Can you see it mixed in with these green vines?

These snakes are usually found near bodies of water such as ponds, lakes, or along the banks of rivers with dense vegetation and a lot of grasses or reeds. The snake does an excellent job camouflaging itself in its vegetative environment, especially on green leaf trees. Try not to mistake a vine for one of these ferocious snakes.
