Wolf Spiders
Wolf spiders are one of the most common spiders in the world. Wolf spiders are found in many different colors and sizes, but they all have eight eyes, four on each side of their head. Unlike most spiders with eight legs, wolf spiders only have six legs plus two pedipalps (a pair of appendages near their mouths).

The pedipalps look like little pinchers for grasping prey. Wolf spiders are known for being fast and aggressive, making them harder to catch than other spiders. They run instead of just moving quickly like jumping spiders or orb-weaver species do when trying to escape danger. They have also mastered the art of camouflage, making them almost invsible in their environment. Look closely and try to find this spider in the rocks.
