The downside of fire and water

If you have ever been in a fire, you know flames can be terrifying and the smoke is unbearable. You can’t see, you can’t breathe, and everything is hot. All you want is for the firefighters to get there as soon as possible. The pipes inside the fire hydrant are waiting to do the job. 

But water will make a mess too. If anything was left untouched by the fire, it would be destroyed by water. On top of having your house burnt down, what is meant to be salvaged is nothing but a different kind of destruction. Isn’t it ironic?
