Who does this hive belong to?
The way this person holds the hive resembles the way Hamlet looked at Yorick’s skull when he recited his famous monologue: “to be or not to be, that is the question.” What this guy was wondering was probably related to whether that hive belonged to a bee (or not a bee).
Hives are where these creatures store pollen and honey and raise their breeding. The hive cells’ size helps humans recognize what species it belongs to. It is impressive (or disturbing if you have trypophobia) how these insects create such perfect patterns.
