One In a Million: Redditors Share Their Special Superpower that Fewer Than 0.1% of Others Have

August 3, 2010 by Shelley Thompson

You might’ve heard the saying, “Everyone is special in their own unique way.” While some of us might agree with the above statement, others might share a bit of skepticism. It’s not a big surprise because if we all are so ‘unique,’ how come we haven’t discovered our special traits? Like all those superheroes who can fly, emit lasers from their eyes, or maybe teleport from one dimension to another, why don’t we have a special power like them? The list goes on and on, so while you are still figuring out what’s so unique about you, why not learn about the ones who have figured it out? Today we’ve gathered 30 plus top responses from the r/AskReddit thread where people were asked to share something about themselves that they believe they might be 0.1% of. As expected, the responses were amazing and mind-blowing. While some of these responses might make you question why you don’t have what they have, others might think about how it’s so good they have what you don’t. Before you set out to sift through thousands of Reddit comments, save yourself the effort; we have the catalog of top responses so you can enjoy them right at your fingertips without bothering the extra trip to the streets of Reddit! So if you’re ready, grab your favorite snacks to munch on as you read. And who knows, you might just find yourself sharing one of these unique ‘super powers’ too!

A scarred heart

Ah, ‘scars on heart’ somehow remind us all of our high school sweethearts. Well, this isn’t any figure of speech here because this Reddit user quite literally means physical cuts when they mention ‘scars.’ And it’s not a ‘few’ scars, this guy has around 30 of them on his heart!

Isn’t it scary how someone can have actual scars on their heart and yet be fully functioning and healthy? We don’t think we’ve known anyone with even a single scar on their heart from surgeries, let alone 30!
