Phaeno Science Center, Germany
The Phaeno Science Center is another architectural wonder designed by Zaha Hadid and located in Wolfsburg, a small town in central Germany. The project cost 79 million euros and was financed via a public-private partnership. The science museum is dedicated to attracting children and youth to the world of physics, biology, and chemistry.
The building is part of a series of cultural buildings built in the 50s to produce synergy and urban media to rescue the industrial city. The building receives about 180,000 visitors annually and is one of the biggest in Germany.
