Dying might not be all shades of Hades; it can be beautiful and peaceful too
According to many mythologies, dying was described as gory and horrendous as Hades lurks behind you in his most evil forms. Well, this Redditor shared a calmer, better version of the death he experienced while he watched his father on his deathbed. He explained he saw his dad’s soul depart from his body through a faint, white, and visible light that erupted from his body above his heart.
Then this light evaporated towards the hospital’s ceiling to be seen no more. He looked around the room to ensure other people were witnessing what he was currently seeing, but nobody seemed to notice. He said this experience shaped his thoughts and approach to life, and he has always kept this event to himself as recalling it to others can get him weird glances.
