Gadgets For Our Crafty Friends

January 4, 2025 by Shelley Thompson

Whether you’re crafty or you’re on the hunt for a gift for the crafty person in your life, we got you. Crafting technology has come a long way and it’s pretty nifty to see these gadgets that make a crafter’s life a little easier because let’s face it, some of these gadgets are just cool. Let’s not waste any more time and jump right into our favorite crafty gadgets for crafters of all ages.

Smart Sketcher 2.0

Let’s start with a gadget for our small fries, for our crafters in training, if you will. The concept here is pretty simple, this little gadget teaches small hands to draw all kinds of things in an easy step-by-step kind of way. The buttons on the Smart Sketcher are larger and easy for little hands and the really cool part is that you can nab Sketcher Sets where kids can create stickers, draw historic architecture, museum art, and even greeting cards.

And don’t think this is just for kids, adult crafters can use this too! It works wonders for calligraphy, making cards, and drawing small illustrations. Buy one here!

Surge Protector

Okay, this isn’t super exciting, but if you’ve ever blown a fuse because you needed all of the things plugged in, and had to deal with that in the middle of making something epic, then you know how much of a difference this little gadget can make. Buy one here!

Xyron Creative Station Lite

If you or someone you know is quite the label, sticker, greeting card, or die-cut maker, then this seemingly small but mighty station will make your life so much easier. This gadget is easy to use, works with laminate, adhesive, and magnet and performs cold lamination which means no electricity, no heat, and no mess. Buy one here!

Vinyl Scrap Collector

If you do a lot of work with vinyl or you’re just starting on your vinyl journey or you have a friend that works with vinyl, this tiny contraption will save the vinyl crafter in your life so much headache. As you remove those microscopic pieces you can simply drop them in this scrap collector. This means no more having to pick up tiny pieces on the floor or all over your workspace after you’re done with your project. Buy one here!

Cordless Glue Gun

All you have to do is charge your glue gun, then you can take it anywhere you need. While this may seem unnecessary, we want you to think about all the times you’ve thought or said aloud, “I can fix this with some hot glue” because maybe we’re the crazy ones, but we say this a lot and this cordless glue gun makes that a reality and we think that’s pretty cool. Buy one here!
