A well-hidden weapon
We all know sa thing or two about elephants. Beyond their enormous size, they are intelligent animals that love to spend time with their family and stick with their pack. We also know they do not prey on other animals because they’re herbivores, only eating plants. But there are some aspects of an elephant we don’t look at in detail. For some reason, some parts of nature we tend to ignore.
What you are looking at is actually the tail of an elephant seen up close. Because of its large legs, ears and trunk, the tail of these animals often goes unnoticed- but it is actually a powerful weapon. What looks like wires are very thick hairs covering the skin. Perhaps they use their thick-haired tail to defend themselves or to scare off bugs.
