You can imagine the comments when someone posted a question on the r/AskReddit subreddit, asking them to share the greatest unsolved mystery they know. Some were enough to make anyone’s jaw drop, while others were more or less the better-known or cliched mysteries. Now before you rev your car and set out on a long road trip to the weird corners of Reddit in a quest for some hot ‘unsolved mysteries,’ just settle down that impatient bum of yours because we’ve done the hard work for you! Here’s a collection of the best responses on Reddit about some of the greatest unsolved mysteries known to history! Can you figure it out, Sherlock?

“They found an additional leg in the rubble”

This mystery made officers wonder, “Something doesn’t just add up here, I know it.” During the Oklahoma City bombing, the rescue operators found an additional leg that was already embalmed to a victim that had been buried but with a wrong leg. With no unaccounted body parts or no other missing report, they still don’t know whose leg was that.

‘John Doe’ or ‘Jane Doe’ is usually used to refer to a corpse that cannot be identified. Conspiracy theories suggest all sorts of possibilities, but none have yet been confirmed. Some people even believe it belonged to a homeless person, which seems a more valid explanation.
