Turtle with Two Heads or Two Turtles with One Body
A two-headed sea turtle was seen at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University in Canakkale, Turkey, on December 3, 2015. The two-headed turtle, which died soon after being found in the Samandag district of Hatay province, had two hearts, two lungs, and two stomachs.
Two-headed turtles are as common as snakes and seem cute because of their size. These turtles could not live beyond birth due to their deformed structure. If the turtle had lived longer, it would have been possible they had differences in personalities. It could have been two animals joined as one rather than an animal with two heads. Sadly, they didn’t live long enough to satisfy our curiosities.
