Mutated Salamander
In December 2014, the Community of Ecology Lab of the University of Haifa in Israel discovered a two-headed salamander. It was a new discovery, so they had to examine the causes. Several causes for the mutation have been suggested by scientists, such as pollution of water, radiation changes, or inbreeding in a small population.
It was born by a wild pregnant female from the Mountain of Galilee in the Kaukab Spring of Israel. Unlike other species that lay eggs, they were birthed alive. Not everyone can be in school on their first day and still be famous for it. We must applaud these newts who went past the laboratory to trend in the world.
