The Holy Lamb
In Khan Yunis, Palestine, a two-headed lamb was born to a shepherd, in his family home in the West Bank al-Fawar refugee camp, near Hebron on November 9th, 2008. The owner and everyone who saw it was surprised and astounded by such a birth. The lamb tried to walk but only managed to make circles.
The shepherds there accepted the lamb with love and took turns to feed the heads while supporting the other head. The mother sheep and the rest of the flock also accepted the lamb despite its nature. In Palestine, there is a widely believed myth of two-headed lambs, which is probably why the shepherds loved it and nurtured them.
