Janus the Two-Headed Tortoise Loves Taking Pictures
Salads make for good pictures, after all. The Geneva Museum of Natural History carried this two-headed tortoise from the wild. It is a Greek tortoise hatched in 1997 and named Janus after the god. The duo is well taken care of and fed. Since the tortoise can’t return to its shell, the Museum did a good deed.
Ever met a social tortoise? It doesn’t retract into its shell for fear of paparazzi. Instead, it eats salads and poses for the camera. A professional model tortoise! Get some tips for the crowd from Janus.
