A New Year’s Gift
Calves are the least popular animals during the New Year celebration. However, in December 2013, the birth of a two-headed calf in the Moroccan village of Sefrou stirred mixed reactions. To mark its birth, the calf was named Sana Saida to celebrate the New Year.
“Sana Saida” is the Arabic way of saying Happy New Year. On New Year’s Day, don’t forget to say Sana Saida to your friends and family by sharing beef.
