The Three Musketeers
Cat whiskers are rooted more deeply in the skin than ordinary fur, and the area around cat whiskers has a lot of nerves and blood. This makes the whisker tips so sensitive that they can detect even the slightest change in the direction of a breeze. Because of that sensitivity, it can cause your cat pain if you mess with her whiskers.
A group of cats is called a “clowder.” On first look at the picture above, you see a rug, and then you see a clowder of cats. Have you found the cat? On the carpet, you can see what appears to be a group of three cats. Just like the three musketeers― the heroic and honorable swordsmen who fought for justice, we have our whisker-teers. Two cats on both sides escort our superstar cat.
