Growing up, we learned a lot of facts we believed were accurate. However, as we got more exposure, many of those facts were dismantled by science, and, sometimes, common sense debunked these common beliefs. Cracking Knuckles Gives Arthritis
Have you ever enjoyed the bliss of hearing your knuckles crack, and someone abruptly pulled you out of the euphoria with this stern warning: “You will get arthritis if you keep doing that?” You probably stopped and have also gone on to give others this life-saving advice. But does cracking your knuckles develop arthritis?
The short answer is no. According to various orthopedic doctors, there aren’t any known detrimental effects associated with cracking the knuckles. It could only cause hand swelling and weakness. But arthritis? No!
