The remains of the astronaut Vladimir Komarov, a man who fell from space, 1967
Vladimir Mikhaylovich Komarov was a Soviet test pilot and aerospace engineer who became the first man to fall out of space. Pictures of his remains after his free fall from space are not being circulated as it was a gory sight; instead, they share his picture of him and his space suit.
He became the first Soviet cosmonaut to fly in space twice when he was selected as the solo pilot; however, he died as his parachute failed when his space capsule reached earth. There were rumors that he was medically unfit but still played an active role in space vehicle design and cosmonaut training.
