Vladimir Lenin’s last photo before his death
Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist that served as the first and founding head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1924 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924.
Based on his track record, he is a successful leader with the ideals of a Marxist. This photograph taken in 1923 shows his frail state as he had already suffered from dangerous stroke attacks and was rendered completely mute.
