If you have wondered what is behind the famous Mona Lisa painting, wonder no more
The Mona Lisa is one of the wonders of the world that should be on everyone’s bucket list to see. It’s a half-length portrait painting by Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci and is considered a world masterpiece. It is described as the best recognized, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world, yet the most disappointing as people expect much more.
This image shows the back of the famous painting, and we couldn’t be more surprised as it is plain and there is no matching work, mysterious hint, or anything spectacular. It is just plywood with some scuffs, believed to have been inscribed by the painter.
